The Winner Is… Kellie Andriessen!
We are absolutely delighted Kellie Andriessen, our Property Management Team Manager, has received the prestigious Tim Anderson OAM Residential Property Manager award in the REINSW (Real Estate Institute NSW) Awards for Excellence. This award is for outstanding achievement by individuals in residential property management.
Recognising exceptional industry achievement, these highly regarded industry awards are the most prestigious and respected in New South Wales, celebrating the achievements of outstanding professionals who demonstrate excellence, professionalism, and a commitment to their clients and communities.
REINSW CEO Tim McKibbin says this year the Awards for Excellence celebrates those who have truly gone above and beyond, even in the face of challenging times.
“Once again, we were amazed by the high calibre of entrants in this year’s Awards for Excellence, especially given the continuing challenges agents have faced over the past year,” says Mr. McKibbin. “Each of you has raised the bar for excellence in real estate, and we are proud to celebrate your remarkable achievements this evening.”
“There has been a lot happening over the last year, the high level of interest rates and cost of living pressures are seeing many homeowners forced to sell properties that they only purchased in the last 12-36 months. Investors have been exiting the market in large numbers across NSW due to those same pressures coupled with changes to our tenancy legislation. Agents have been tasked with navigating through this housing crisis amid the lack of supply.
“With so many outstanding nominees, selecting the top professional and agency in each category proved to be a challenging task.
“Those who took home a winner’s trophy can take immense pride in their well-deserved accomplishment,” says Mr McKibbin.

Kellie is an inspiration in Newcastle’s real estate market, demonstrating exceptional skill and commitment. In addition to her enviable customer service and commitment to clients, Kellie’s contributions to community initiatives and her involvement in mentoring and training our management team played a significant role in her achieving this award. Unaccustomed to being in the limelight, in true Kellie style, on being presented the award, she deflected the accolade from herself, thanking her team and family. “This is also your award tonight girls!” she said.
