As 2020 comes to an end, we’d like to say thank you to everyone for all your support during what has been an extraordinary year.

These have been challenging times and we’re very grateful for your understanding and patience as we implemented new viewing guidelines to ensure everyone was protected and kept safe.

The good news is we now have a bit more normality in our lives, and while we did have a dip in sales for part of the year due to the pandemic, we’re starting to get excited about 2021; the market is now looking very strong and property prices are continuing to rise.

CoreLogic recently reported a 0.8 % increase nationally in November – this defied the dire predictions made earlier in the year of up to a 20 % drop due to a coronavirus recession!

According to CoreLogic’s Head of Research, Tim Lawless, if the current growth trend persists, we are likely to see CoreLogic’s national home value index surpass pre-COVID levels in early 2021.

At the same time, the reserve bank has announced it won’t be changing the record-low cash rate of 0.1%, and it is expected to keep rates low for the next year or so.

With interest rates at a record low, the economy picking up and plenty of government incentives to help home owners, we are seeing an increase in people wanting to buy all types of property.

The problem is, we are in desperate need of more people who are wanting to sell their property to meet the current strong demand!

No doubt your schedules are busier than ever preparing for Christmas, but the Christmas break is also a good time to think about what you’d like to do in 2021.
